eduFair Launched for International Pathway and Language Schools
eduFair.com is now available for pathway and languages schools across the English-speaking world.
Open for domestic organizations from early May, eduFair's platform will be open to pathway and language schools outside of China looking to recruit Chinese students.
Also called bridge or foundation programs, these schools offer English classes, test preparation, and pathways to university undergraduate and graduate programs.
eduFair is initially opening accounts for pathway and language schools located in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
As an added bonus, eduFair will allow institution that join early to upload an unlimited number of programs through December 2022. The programs display different offerings - for example, English classes, test prep, undergraduate pathways, and graduate pathways - and can be found according to students' search criteria.
Derrik Karst, Director of International Engagement, said, "It's an exciting time for us. With all the work and development that has gone into eduFair, we are thrilled to help students access better information while helping schools find new ways to recruit.
"Information from international institutions is critical for Chinese students' future success. We want to encourage institutions to share as much information as possible, so we will initially offer unlimited programs to international institutions also as a thank you for their support."
Accounts for international institutions are always free. To join eduFair, institutions must meet the following requirements:
Student visas - The institution must be able to sponsor visas for international students.
Recognized qualifications - The institution must grant qualifications that are recognized by local governments, official accrediting bodies, or the Chinese Ministry of Education.
Authorized employee - The individual opening an e-Booth must be a direct employee of the institution.

Other institution types including universities, colleges, art schools, and high schools will be able to join eduFair in June 2019.
