Post News & Announcements
Posting news and announcements is a great way to bring more students’ attention to your e-booth. News pieces and announcements on eduFair appear on our website and app home pages as well as students’ individual news feeds. These feeds contain curated content matching students’ interests and study goals, so relevant students will receive your news and announcements directly, leading them to your e-booth.
Step-by-Step Guide:
On your e-Booth Management page, click “Post News and Events” then “Add News and Events”
A pop-up “Choose News Type” has 3 options: News, Events, and Notice Board. (For our guide on posting events, see the next section of this article: Post Events.) Choose “News” to add news pieces or “Notice Board” to add announcements for students.
Add the desired information:
News: add the type of news (news, visa updates, or urgent notifications), the country, the title, a link for more information, and a cover image.
Notice Board: include a title, content, and images. Notice board news appears on students’ notice boards.
Click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
The updated information will now appear on your e-Booth.
When posting news on your e-booth, you can post news with article links, events (more on this in the next section), or notice board announcements for quick updates to students.
Posting announcements is quick and easy with eduFair! Just add your title, content, and cover image to catch interested students’ attention.
Post Events
Not only can schools post news and announcements, but they can also promote online and offline events, such as webinars, recruitment events, career fairs, and alumni get-togethers. All events appear on eduFair’s homepages and are synced with students’ calendars. This feature ensures that all interested students on eduFair will have the important details to be able to attend your events with plenty of notice.
Step-by-Step Guide:
On your e-Booth Management page, click “Post News and Events” then “Add News and Events.”
From the “Choose Event Type” pop-up, select “Events.”
Add the desired information, including a title, the event dates, location, a cover image, the event details, and tags, such as academic & language testing, campus life, etc.
Click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
The updated information will now appear on your e-Booth.
Let students know about all your events with this useful feature. After the event is posted, students can easily see the details by looking at their individual eduFair calendars.
Add Programs
Adding programs helps schools appear in students’ searches according to their study levels, fields of interest, and academic backgrounds. Programs are divided into three categories: Pathway and Language/Test Programs, Schools/Departments and Undergraduate Programs, and Graduate Programs. All institutions can input Pathway & Language Programs, but some institutions like high schools or middle schools will not have Departments and Undergraduate Programs or Graduate Programs. These features will only appear on your e-booth if they are applicable to your institution.
Manage Pathway & Language/Test Programs
This feature allows you to upload information about the pathway and language programs offered by your institution. These programs will appear on the notice board of your e-Booth and can be found through eduFair China’s search features.
Pathway programs provide direct entry or conditional admission to tertiary institutions. These include foundation, bridge programs, and pre-sessional English courses.
Language programs provide language training and test preparation without specific progression routes for degree-seeking students.
Please note that in order to list a pathway or language program, the program must be operated by your institution. If your institution accepts students from a program that is operated by a third party, that party can create a profile on eduFair China.
Step-by-step guide to manage pathway and language/test programs:
To add a new pathway or language/test program:
On your e-Booth Management page, click “Manage Pathway & Language/Test Programs” then “Add Pathway & Language/Test Programs.”
Click “Add a Program.”
Complete the information about the new program.
Note: In order to ensure that your program can be found through search, try to provide as complete information as possible.
Click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
Return to your Program List page, and check that the program’s “Status” is “Online.”
The new program has been published, and users can access the program from the “Pathway & Language/Test Programs” section of your e-Booth.
To edit an existing pathway or language/test program:
On your e-Booth Management page, click “Manage Pathway & Language/Test Programs” then “Add Pathway & Language/Test Programs.”
Click “Edit” next to the correct program.
Edit the desired information about the program.
Click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
The changes have been published to the “Pathway & Language/Test Programs” section of your e-Booth.
When adding pathway or language programs, be sure to add as much information as possible so that students can find and apply for your program.
Manage Schools/Departments and Undergraduate Programs
This feature allows you to list specific majors and courses of study leading to associate's and bachelor's degrees as well as the departments they are in.
These departments and courses will appear within the notice board of your e-Booth for students to view. These courses are essential for eduFair’s undergraduate search, which matches the courses you offer to what students are searching for. Therefore, we strongly recommend completing this information as completely as possible as it is essential for undergraduate applicants when finding schools.
Worth note is that when you add an undergraduate program you are asked to choose its department. By adding a new department under a graduate program, you will be creating a new department under “Manage Schools/Departments & Undergraduate Programs.”
When adding an undergraduate program, you'll also need to add the department or select an existing department from your e-booth. There is no limit on the number of departments or programs that you can add.
Step-by-step guide to manage schools/departments and undergraduate programs:
To add or edit undergraduate programs:
On your e-Booth Management page, click “Manage Schools/Departments & Undergraduate Programs” then “Add Schools/Departments and Undergraduate Programs.”
Click “Add a School/Department” to add a new school or department.
To edit an existing department on your e-booth, click “edit” next to the department you want to edit.
Fill in the department information and check the majors and fields that you offer.
To add an unlisted major or field to your department, scroll to the “Other” section at the bottom of the appropriate section and click “Add Major(s)/Field(s),” which will allow you to manually input your information.
Important: Click “Submit” at the bottom of the page to submit the changes.
Your changes have been published to the Undergraduate Programs area of your e-Booth.
Repeat steps 2-4 to add as many schools/departments or undergraduate programs as you have.
When adding a new department, first add the department name, a brief description, and then the majors available. To add unlisted majors, scroll to the bottom, select “Other,” then “Add Major(s)/Field(s),” and input the information manually.
Manage Graduate Programs
The Manage Graduate Programs feature allows you to upload and manage information about your institution's graduate offerings, including master’s, doctorate, post-doctoral, and certificate programs.
There are two ways to add graduate programs to your e-booth: add programs individually or upload an excel file with multiple programs.
Graduate programs are so diverse that they each deserve their own profile. Once uploaded, students can access this information via your e-Booth. Further, users can search for individual graduate programs according to their interests and academic background, ensuring that your program attracts more qualified applicants that fit with your institution.
Our Graduate Program search can be found here. It searches according to the following criteria:
Country/Region
Major
Degree (postgraduate certificate, master’s, MBA, doctorate, PhD)
Language requirements (TOEFL & IELTS)
eduFair’s Graduate Program search helps students find their right fit program by filtering by country, major, degree, etc.
For example, McGill University’s e-booth lists their undergraduate and post-graduate programs for ten faculties or schools, including arts, education, law, science, and more. Within each school, they list their individual programs so that students can find the faculty and program that best suits them.
McGill University’s e-booth includes 11 faculties or schools, each listing their individual programs for students to find more information. This screenshot shows the available programs in McGill University’s Faculty of Science.
Step-by-step guide to manage graduate programs:

On your e-Booth Management page, click “Manage Graduate Programs” then “Add Graduate Programs.”
Click “Add a Program.”

Click “Submit.”

To add multiple graduate programs via excel:
On your e-Booth Management page, click “Manage Graduate Programs” then “Add Graduate Programs.”
Click “Upload Multiple Programs.” Instructions will also appear on this page as seen in the screenshot below.
Click “Download Template” and open the Excel file.
Complete your program information within the Excel file. You can add all your programs to this file.
Click “Upload File” and select the Excel file.
Wait. The status will be “Pending” while the system processes your information.
Status says "Success" (file successfully uploaded)
When successfully uploaded, the status will be “Success” and you will be able to see your graduate programs under your “Manage Graduate Programs” Home.
Some information such as a pdf or pathway program links cannot be supported by excel. They can be added to programs individually through your “Manage Graduate Programs” Home.
Status says "Partial Success" (some of your programs have been successfully uploaded)
Click on “View” and see why some programs were not successfully uploaded.
Your successfully uploaded programs can be seen online and under your “Manage Graduate Programs” Home.
Re-upload the file after deleting the previously successful programs and making the suggested changes.
Status says "Fail" (file has not successfully uploaded)
Click on “View” and see why your programs were not successfully uploaded.

Invite current students and alumni to post about their experiences
Chinese students want to know about the real international student experience on campus. When Chinese students are looking for an institution abroad, one of the most important factors is true student experience. In fact, conversations with current students are often the top contributing reason behind Chinese students’ decisions when choosing a high education institution.
Considering the impact current students and alumni can have on potential students’ decisions, including student-made content on your e-booth is crucial for recruiting Chinese international students. Your current international students know what prospective international students want to know because they too were new to campus and the country once. That’s why eduFair e-booths include two sections for prospective students to interact with current students and alumni: the “Student Perspective” and “Forum” sections.
The “Student Perspective” section – current students and alumni can post their own photos and videos on their school’s e-booth. Here you can collect student-made content to help prospective students connect with your students and better understand campus life for international students.
The “Forum” section – prospective students can ask questions publicly and current students and alumni can respond in this DIY FAQ section. The forum feature saves your time and helps students develop trust and personal connections with your school.
To get your students involved, reach out to your current students and alumni and tell them to do the following:
Download the student app (eduFair 留学咖啡馆 | liúxué kāfeīguǎn)
Register for an account
Find their school
Post their own content! (pictures, videos, articles, forum responses, etc.)
