Andrew Chien

Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Journalist, editor, consultant, and entrepreneur, Andrew has more than 30 years of experience in growing businesses and connecting students with schools abroad. A citizen of Canada, Andrew assisted Canadian universities in designing international recruitment plans and served as Chief Editor of a Chinese immigration publication. He has seen the Chinese international education industry grow from a niche offering into a global network encompassing millions of students and thousands of institutions. In his free time, Andrew enjoys reading, yoga, and kayaking.

Rebecca Chang

Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Rebecca graduated from National Tsing Hua University before moving to Canada. There she studied immigration law at both Ashton College and the University of British Columbia (UBC). With 30 years of legal experience, Rebecca is a member of the Canadian Immigration Consultants Association (CSIC) and the Canadian Immigration Consultants Regulatory Commission (ICCRC). She has served as a legal representative for many immigration institutions in China, and has co-authored a number of visa-related publications. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling, and she has a strong passion for discovering new cuisines from all over the world.

Lily Wang

International Engagement Coordinator

Lily is an adventurous person that loves learning and exploring new places. Fluent in Chinese and English, Lily enjoys talking to people from all walks of life and striking up conversations with strangers. She once met an old man who helped people patch shoes, and they unexpectedly talked together for hours. These passions brought her to international education as she loves bridging cultures and helping students. Lily has a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature from Xiamen University and a Master's in English Linguistics from Zhejiang University. She has also worked as a translator and education consultant. When not working, she can be found climbing mountains and enjoying nature.

Alicia Sigmon

Content Writer

Alicia graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and minors in Spanish and Chinese. After graduating, she moved to Fuzhou in Fujian, China, where she taught English for almost 3 years. She currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she is a Brand Storyteller at Woden, in addition to her work as our Content Writer. In her free time, Alicia enjoys learning languages, playing piano, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

Luying Chen

Project Director

Luying is a devoted foodie and international traveler. While living, working, and eating around the world, Luying has developed first-hand experience in international education: she holds a Master's of Advanced Management Practice from the University of Bath and a Bachelor's in Management from the University of Wakaito. Luying is fluent in Chinese and English and is currently learning how to order tapas in Spanish.
